Third time's the charm as the world of performance art returns to New York City when chashama presents Currency 2005 International Festival of Performance, October 6-15 at 208 W. 37 Street. This year's edition is the most ambitious yet, expanding to two weeks and featuring 25 artists** from 18 countries. Six unique programs will be presented with performances Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights starting at 8PM. And once again this year, all events are FREE! So join us in the fall for New York City's only international festival of performance art.
**He Chengyao (China) and Iwan Wijono (Indonesia) will not be attending the festival, but will be represented by videos instead.
