Space To Create Manager

Elise joined Chashama in summer 2021 and oversees the Space to Create Program workspaces and select presentation spaces in Brooklyn, Manhattan, and NJ. She received her Masters in Interdisciplinary Art from Florida State University in 2016 and is a practicing painter in Brooklyn, NY. Elise has taught undergraduate courses in art and art history for Florida State University since 2015 and continues to teach for their Distance Learning Program today. She has previously worked as a Preparator and Registrar for several museums and galleries in Cincinnati, OH, and directed a non-profit gallery in Northeast FL before landing in NYC.
