chashama 135
chashama’s record of performances in 135 began August 3 – 18, 2000 with Deli Dances, curated by Despina Stamos and Associate Producer Tony Silva. This was a summer series of dance and performance art featuring 44 of New York’s emerging choreographers. It was free to the public with performances inside the theater and in the storefront windows of “135”.
This space included office space for individuals or small companies, studios, galleries, workspace, a fully equipped theater, and window space.
chashama’s tenure at 135 ended on February 29, 2004 with The Happening, a 24-hour festival of come-one-come-all interactive deconstruction here and at the TIXE 113 space.
