chashama 125

chashama 125 became over time a  fully-equipped theater, auxiliary to our main space at 135, with studios on four floors (including the basement) and storefront window space.

The National Theater of the United States of America produced several shows in this venue, as did other experimental companies who needed but could not otherwise afford the amenities chashama provided here.

chashama’s tenure here ended with the long-running residency of The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus at 125 (the Palace of Variety & Free Museum of  Times Square) through February 2004.
