Christina Massey has curated shows at locations such as the Hunterdon Museum, CWOW, HEREart, and the ISE Foundation as well as commercially and privately for personal collections. Artists that Massey has worked with have gone on to show internationally in solo exhibitions, won prestigious awards such as NYFA Foundation Fellowships, Joan Mitchel Foundation grants, and Pollack Krasner grants and have been awarded residencies with the LMCC and Yaddo.
Massey has a tradition of supporting female artists through her exhibitions, and this is echoed in her blog WoArt, which features interviews with female artists from whom she finds personal inspiration. Massey exhibits her own work extensively. She is currently a merit scholarship awardee at Urban Glass, was a SIP Fellow at the efa Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshopthis summer. Massey is a studio resident at Chashama’s Brooklyn Army Terminal Space to Create.
