We Got Lucky

According to Monika:

“I invited artists to submit, recreate or create new works around the theme of experiencing or marking space.

“This idea came about after visiting the Donald Judd House in SOHO. I was thinking of all the potential artwork that we could make if the real estate was not making it impossible in this city. All the pieces that never see the light of day, all this talent suppressed.

“The original title was Judd, I think we got lucky , but Zerek Kempf wisely suggested more subtlety.

“Anyhow: the artists in the show were: Pierluigi Calignano (IT), Alan Calpe (US), Jonathan Harris (US), Josh Hartley (US), Karolina Kazmierska (PL/FR), Zerek Kempf (US) and me,(what ever I may be).”
