Born in Japan and raised in the US, Europe and Asia, Monique is an artist working primarily in the medium of photography. Monique uses photographs to depict the various microcosmic states in which we exist. Her narratives uncover unspoken desires, tensions and passions that reside on a subconscious level. Monique has studied at the San Francisco Art Institute, School of Visual Arts and ICP. Her work has been shown in Washington, DC, San Francisco, Bangladesh and New York.
