Time is not a circle nor a square is an endurance drawing project by Kendall Nordin that will begin at 9 AM and run through Monday at 9 AM or after, depending on the artist's stamina. She estimates she will be able to last until early afternoon on Monday. Mimicking the angles and shapes already evident in the windows, walls, and lines of this storefront space, Nordin will make 2-dimensional as well as 3-dimensional drawings, some of which will be only momentary, all of which will disappear at the end of her performance. The piece evolves over the more than 24 hours and brings into focus ideas of duration, change, completion, and relationship between space and who inhabits it.
