The Open Palm is a one-on-one, interactive performance presented in a former flower shop. Conjuring a palm reader’s storefront, a salon and a tattoo parlor, The Open Palm is a hybrid location in which the artist administers a mysteriously surreal consultation and treatment that promotes health, beauty, and success. This experiential piece is complemented by a selection of new photographs that the artist created while inventing a humorous yet potent approach to portraiture and the search for well being.
Walk-in appointments will be accepted during open hours or at other times by request.
