Selected Works by Isadora Capraro
Gambit Works
Isadora Capraro’s artistic practice focuses on the relationship between symbols and the subconscious drive. Drawing on a complex personal mythology, the artist utilizes abstraction and symbolism to evoke this synergy between the two.
Combining images from memory, personal archives, and literary sources, Capraro created allusive scenes capturing the relationship between symbols and the subconscious. The bold coloration of the artworks and the historical yet familiar symbols help transport the viewer into a dream-like environment and indirectly provoke them to reflect upon their own subconscious journey.
