About the Artist
Injoo Whang is an artist who makes drawings and installations. She received her BFA from Hong-Ik University in Seoul, Korea, in 2000 and her MFA from Parsons School of Design in 2004. She had two solo shows in Seoul and Earlville, New York, and has participated in many group shows in venues including the Queens Museum of Art in Flushing and the AIR gallery in Manhattan. Whang received the Urban Artist Initiative grant in 2008 and the Jerome Fellowship Grant in 2007.
