Located in Red Hook, Brooklyn, REDU transforms reclaimed materials into 99% up-cycled custom furniture pieces and interiors. REDU redirects and reclaims materials that have been discarded by local makers, manufacturers and construction sites across New York City. By procuring and transforming these materials, they are able to minimize waste-streams going to NYC’s (at capacity) landfills while developing a model for a circular trash economy. REDU takes a transformative approach by rescuing and repurposing materials that are typically discarded and gives them new life.
