During summer 2013,  Project Y.E.A.H. (Young Empowered Artists 4 Humanity) engaged 30 impassioned youth (ages 14-22) from the NYC Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) addressed the topic of escalating Harlem youth violence and its prevention/avoidance through expressions in the arts.  Please join us for "Proceed with Caution: A Youth to Youth Dialogue Addressing Youth Violence” on Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 6:30PM-9PM (with performances at 7:30PM) for our opening reception at chashama Gallery/Studios at 461 W. 126th Street, NYC.   The event will showcase YEAH youth-produced posters, mural, photography, essays, and poetry.  Free and open to the public.
