Peace in the Midst of an Imminent Storm
Carolynne Fromme

“Peace is not just the absence of a storm, but respite in the middle of the storm. It is the kind of peace that one cannot find in today’s headlines or TV’s sensationalized news. The media has grabbed our attention with new dangers and our hearts struggle with new anxieties about the future of America. Many of us wish for that kind of peace right now. It is my hope that each one of my lyrical brushstrokes develops a rhythm and strikes an emotional chord in the viewer. These are my visual mantras for peace in the world.”–Carolynne Fromme
