Over the Rainbow features a collection of Kimhan’s work reflecting her stories, exploration, and 5 years of dynamic life in New York. After many years painting in Germany, she was searching for new materials and locations in which to create and found New York, “a gigantic colorful city with bountiful materials.”

Fascinated by how the various combinations of materials transform and harmonize in space, Kimhan is constant observer of unique forms and incidental objects on the street and how they participate in a symphony of form and color. From a relationship between nature and urban city life,”there are visible as well as invisible tensions between the unspecified elements of forms, which create unique synergies that beautifully manifest in our daily life.” As she continues to explore different materials, she is curious to find many more “unexpected answers.”
