Executed in a subtle palette of mauves Bo Kim’s oil-on-canvas paintings combine many thin color layers and organic forms. Hand-drawn circles, stripes and rectangles blend with biomorphic imagery in balanced, meditative compositions that invite viewers to discover unexpected associations.

Recent exhibition include: ISE Cultural Foundation Immerging Artist in New York (2013); Affordable Art Fair New York (2013); Plane Sight, West Side Gallery, New York (2013); We Object, Visual Arts Gallery, New York (2013); TOUCH, Westside Gallery, New York (2012), Pop Up Art Loop Chicago (2011); Solo Show Ambiguity between the Real and the Virtual, Gallery Uno, Chicago (2011)
