Emmelines is pleased to present No Returns, an exhibition of video works by Emily Jacir, David L. Johnson, Nina Könnemann, and Pierre Huyghe.

Program (in order of appearance): David L. Johnson shows 13 seconds of New York City (2017). Nina Könnemann shows 7 minutes 49 seconds of London (2012). Pierre Huyghe shows 20 seconds of Paris (1994). Emily Jacir shows 15 minutes of Akka, Jerusalem, Hebron, Ramallah, Gaza City, and Bethlehem (2000). The videos run consecutively on a single screen. The program loops every 25 minutes 34 seconds.

Pierre Huyghe (*1962, Paris, France) lives and works in Santiago de Chile.

Emily Jacir (*1970, Bethlehem, Palestine) lives and works in the Mediterranean.

Nina Könnemann (*1971, Bonn, Germany) lives and works in Berlin.

David L. Johnson (*1993, New York, NY) lives and works in New York City.
