5 - 7 pm
Anita's Way
133 West 42nd Street
(the through block connecting 42nd and 43rd streets, between 6th Ave. and Broadway)
New York, NY
Ms. Malina began writing the Full Moon Poem on the full moon in July 1964, and has continued writing it on every full moon since then, for 50 years. On every full moon, a line of poetry or narrative describes where she is and what she is doing in the life of her creativity and that of The Living Theatre. The narrative extends to the present; Judith, at 88, is still writing it.
Twelve readers will present the whole poem.
Judith Malina’s last play, “No Place To Hide,” is produced this summer in the parks of Manhattan and Brooklyn, and will soon attend the Burning Man festival in Nevada.
