Interstate Artists' Salon and Fundraiser
Interstate Musical, LLC

Interstate is a brand new Asian-American pop-rock poetry musical about Dash, a transgender spoken word performer who becomes internet-famous along with his best friend Adrian, a lesbian singer-songwriter. Together, the band embarks on their first road trip across America. Their music inspires Henry, a transgender teenager living in living in rural Kentucky, to set out on a quest to meet his heroes in person, hoping to find answers to his struggles. Interstate addresses racism, sexism, misogyny, transphobia, homophobia, toxic masculinity, and xenophobia head-on by telling the story of queer Asians who face oppression at the intersection of their identities.
