Divine Reflections is a solo exhibition by Justin DeMattico, whose work is rooted in his Christian faith and imbued with a rich tapestry of themes including individual development, judgment, and the quest for acceptance. Through an array of mediums including portraiture, paintings, drawings from sketchbooks, and 3-D printed animal-totem sculptures, the artist delves into the intricacies of the human experience.

About the Artist:

Justin DeMattico is currently an adjunct professor at Brookdale Community College. He earned his M.F.A. in Painting at Savannah College of Art and Design in 2022. He graduated in 2020 with a B.A. in Studio Art from Monmouth University. Drawing inspiration from his deep-rooted faith, DeMattico is fascinated with religion, symbolism, and the world around us. His work is a reflection of his spiritual journey, exploring the depths of human existence through a blend of portraiture, Christian themes, and symbolism.
