Decent Descent
Cassandra Cotta

“Sometimes I pretend I’m an anchor, because there’s a difference between sinking and drowning.” Decent Descent has evolved, over the course of 4 years, into a movement duet that deals with deaths, both little and big – Deaths of time, space, people, things and even parts of the self. Deaths that are bad, but deaths that might be good too. How do these departures change us and the way we relate to others? What does it actually mean to be strong and recover? Do we ever get to be truly vulnerable? What is it that keeps us going?

Decent Descent is performed and choreographed by Cassandra Cotta and Therese Ronco.
