Crash Doll Vintage: Textile, Art + Design is a carefully curated exhibition and marketplace created by Nancy J. Cook, featuring a selection of vintage women’s clothing, accessories, handmade children’s clothing, knitwear, textile art, and installation. The marketplace also features Wool + Violets a children’s clothing line designed and created by Cook, that features floral prints, polka dots, and solids using Nani Iro and Liberty of London prints.

About the Artist:

Nancy J. Cook is a vintage clothing business owner, artist, event planner, designer, and musician. She enjoys DJ’ing, making art, planning events, curating music shows, and playing guitar. She has been heavily involved in the art and events scene in her local community, Maplewood, NJ.

She has exhibited her work in local galleries such as the Pierro Gallery, 1978 Gallery, and with the Blue Scarf Art Collective, and has participated and curated for the Soma Artist Studio Tour 2017-2020.

Participating Artist: 

Alec Stephen is a singer and guitarist. He is mostly known for his work with the critically acclaimed band Railroad Jerk. His approach to blues, country, jazz, punk, and rock comes with a special twist and uniqueness.

He currently resides in NYC and has been playing and performing since 1987!

 

This market follows CDC guidelines on social distancing. Each market follows a maximum occupancy limit and guests may only enter each space while wearing a mask and after sanitizing hands.
