Chashama partnered with Collar Works to create a space dedicated to supporting emerging and underrepresented artists, working in any media, exhibiting challenging, and culturally relevant contemporary artworks. 

Expanding the current art vernacular in New York’s capital region, Collar Works provides a venue for community dialogue focused on serious, provocative, and spirited artworks.

This space features a studio artist residency program, and a unique array of community-based programming such as local art swaps, open studio nights, workshops and presentations, and a rotating series of exhibitions showcasing the work of local Troy artists.
