Movie/music/TV reviews, Intl Politics, Tours of virtual worlds, US Politics--"Ukrain Crimea Russia - What can be done? should be done?," "What a wonderful world," "State of the Union - What did you think," "Snow and ice hit atlanta 2 time," "One million views on YouTube thanks for watching." From July 7-9th he will move his studio to a public viewing space on 37th Street.

Daniel Lichtman is drawn to the autodidact, or self-taught thinker and speaker. The character who confidently and charismatically develops his own, self-sufficient explanation of lived experience as a whole, enfolding the breadth of personal, political, geological and spiritual experience into a finite set of patterns and formulae. Lichtman appropriates and ventriloquizes this character, charting a tender but hesitant set of relations between knowledge, belief and irony.

Lichtman is an artist based in New York and London. Solo presentations include the Woodmill, London, National University of Colombia and LA Galeria, Bogota. Recent and upcoming group exhibitions include the Drawing Center, Bronx Museum of Art, Exit Art and Scaramouche Gallery, in New York, Vox Populi in Philadelphia and the ICA, Northern Gallery of Contemporary Art, Gloucester Cathedral, The Tetley (formerly Project Space Leeds) and Flat Time House, all in the UK. Recent and upcoming residencies include the Drawing Center and the Bronx Museum of Art, New York, Flat Time House, London and the National University of Colombia, Bogota. Daniel completed an MFA at Goldsmiths in 2011.
