Bridging the Gap NYC is a performance-based outdoor cultural experience in NYC with a focus on healthy lifestyles. Performances will be every other Wednesday from May 30th to July 25th, hosted by Julius Caesar and with music by Dj UFOH.

About Anthony Rodriguez
Anthony Rodriguez’s journey as an artist began when he was young, performing with the Performing Arts Center at the Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club. He went on to dance at Manhattan’s Ballet Hispanico, was the first ever recipient of the Tito Puente Scholarship, and attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music and Performing Arts. There he trained in the disciplines of flamenco, ballet, and modern dance, both as a performer and as a choreographer. Anthony has provided choreography for Hot 97’s “Summer Jam” concert series, as well as for performers such as Marc Anthony, Tito Puente, Don Omar, Beenie Man, “Little” Louie Vega, Cyndi Lauper, and many more. Additionally, he has created staging for major New York City night clubs, and has danced with such artists as Ricky Martin, Prince, Jennifer Lopez and was a flamenco soloist in Madonna’s Drowned World Tour. Anthony is also the founder of La Santa Luz Dance Company and has had had a three year residency at The Nuyorican Poets Café, a two summer residency at Camaradas El Barrio and showcased selective pieces at Joe’s Pub on behalf of Pepatian. He has worked as the Performing Arts Coordinator for The Door since 2008.
