"99" dissects the trials, tribulations, and inner emotional landscape of the average nine to five worker. Featuring choreography by Julie Petrusak and original music by Aaron Immanuel Wright, "99" declares that being in the 99 percent does not just refer to the financial situation of the majority. It refers to the feeling of being one of 99 people applying for the same position, the feeling of being almost the best, but missing the mark by one point, having the odds against you, but still trying because you have a 1% chance of making it.
About the Artist:
JP Dance Group is a contemporary dance company that is dedicated to entertaining, educating, and inspiring its audiences. We believe that dance is the ideal format for storytelling and strive to deliver powerful dance narratives that resonate with people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life.
