NEW BEACON ART GALLERY TO OPEN SEPTEMBER 16, 2006

Featuring 100 Live 100 Works, a group show of index card-sized works on
paper

GO NORTH - A Space for Contemporary Art is introducing itself to the
community with 100 Live 100 Works—an open invitational group exhibition
featuring 100 works by 100 artists. Artists interested in participating in
GO NORTH's inaugural exhibition should contact either Karlos Carcamo or
Gregory Slick at gonorthgallery at hotmail.com. Work can also be dropped off at
World's End Books, located at 474 Main Street, Beacon, NY (Thurs to Mon
11:30 to 6 pm). The submission deadline is September 10th.

Exhibition Guidelines:

   - All works on paper, including photography, are eligible
   - All work must be on index card-sized paper (4" x 6"), and unframed.
   The pieces will be attached to the gallery walls with pushpins
   - The title of the work and artist's name, phone number and/or e-mail
   address must be printed clearly and legibly on the back
   - Only one submission per artist, please
   - All submissions must be for sale September 14 - 24, 2006. The
   gallery will price each piece at $40, and take a standard 50% commission on
   each sold piece
   - We kindly ask that artists pick up their unsold pieces after the
   show
   - The gallery makes all final decisions for a work's inclusion in the
   show
